Tony Margiotta roams the backroads of Italy in search of remarkable craft wines. As President of Gladiator Wine Distribution, he imports small-batch, artisanal wines handcrafted by Italian winemakers. He is also the author of Hidden Gems of Italy, awarded “Best European Wine Book in the U.S.” by the Gourmand International Book Competition.

The wines in his portfolio have received countless international awards throughout Europe, as well as double gold and silver medals at the New York International Wine Competition. With family roots in the village of Montaquila in Southern Italy, Tony has spent more than 25 years traveling the country, immersing himself in its food, wine, and culture.
